Spoken Cantonese and written Chinese differ on the words for "this", "that", and "which".  Additionally, the general word for "place" is different between them as well, making "here", there" and "where" completely different between the two dialects.  The words above have their own characters, but they would not be used in standard written Chinese.

Note that the word for "restaurant" and "dining room" listed here are the same (\chaan\ \teng\).  It is literally a "meal room/hall".  There are several other ways to say "restaurant" which cannot be used for "dining room".
