Although China’s vision for its education creates great demand and profit for the mobile learning industry, survival will still be challenging for these companies.

Studies show that mobile learning through WeChat has a positive impact on language learners. The students use the app to take their courses and receive and submit their assignments.

The data gathered shows improvement in the students’ linguistic abilities and expressions. According to the students, WeChat provided a more interactive experience between them and native language speakers which made learning more efficient and easier to apply in real life.

Analysis of China’s ICT Market

China is one of the countries with the biggest ICT market in the world. Its estimated compound annual growth rate for this year is 8.6%; that’s 3% higher than what’s projected for the global ICT market.

Aside from e-learning, China’s ICT markets have mobile applications, healthcare, digital finances, and e-government segments, making it beam with demands and opportunities. International companies are looking at expanding to China.
